We ask ourselves this question everyday &#8211; why is it so difficult to LET GO?<\/p>\n<p>The first step to relaxation is correct breathing. Slow, deep breathing can break muscle tension patterns and let the mind grasp stressful concepts calmly. Registered Massage Therapists* (RMTs) coach each client in diaphragmatic breathing to achieve this relaxation response &#8211; try it out:<\/p>\n<p>*RMTs have completed over 2200 training hours and are accredited by The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario or equivalent.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Place your hand lightly on your abdomen.<\/li>\n<li>Close your eyes and relax your jaw.<\/li>\n<li>Breathe slowly and deeply through your nose.
