Wow, what a few weeks we have witnessed in the global markets! The financial meltdown has been pervasive. It is a major reality check for everyone and a reminder that nothing is forever or secure no matter what we are led to believe. The bottom line is that the only person to rely on is yourself. Yes, deep down you knew it however you were hoping it was not true.<\/p>\n

What does that mean for you? If you have not done it already this is a perfect time to take stock and review every aspect of your life. In fact it is better to make it an annual event however, if you have overlooked doing it then now is the time. Think of it as a personal or life audit, a time for reflection of what is important to you in the way you live your life, use your time, express yourself personally and professionally, the connections you make, your relationships and the quality of those relationships. A time to think about what is missing from your life. What would give it that zing. A time to dispose of your physical and mental toxicity in an appropriate way. What sort of life would inspire you?<\/p>\n

Keen to get moving? Start with a blank piece of paper, be relaxed in mind, body and spirit, have calming music playing and go within and feel what is coming up for you and write it down. Just let it happen, no editing of your thoughts or feelings and do not get impatient. This is your time to connect with the deepest part of you. Make sure you have plenty of time available, this is not something you squeeze between appointments.<\/p>\n

While the economic crisis continues this is time for you to take the brakes off your life, reevaluate and commit to finding new opportunities and making your life more meaningful.<\/p>\n

My challenge to you is to make this your best year yet!<\/p>\n
